The slideshow - what is it?

The slideshow is a method of viewing each phase of the BattleMap, one by one, automatically. When you start the slideshow, it begins by displaying the first phase then moves on the the next and so on, displaying each for a chosen length of time until it reaches the last phase. It then starts again at the first and continues until you stop the slideshow. You can change the amount of time each phase is displayed for, and the type of transition from one phase to another - see 'Changing slideshow settings'.

This can be used as a display exhibit or demonstration or simply as an effective way of 'seeing' the action.

Starting the slideshow

You can start the slideshow either from the menu by choosing 'slideshow', then 'start slideshow' or by clicking the green 'start' button on the toolbar as shown below.

Stopping the slideshow

You can stop the slideshow once it is running either from the menu by choosing 'slideshow', then 'stop slideshow' or by clicking the red 'stop' button on the toolbar as shown below. Note that the stop button is not available until the slideshow is running (as you'd expect).
